‘Where Mountains Meet the Mystic’

Jibhi Village

Jibhi is a small hamlet located on the national highway 305 which crosses the Jalori Pass to connect Kullu and Shimla districts of Himachal Pradesh.

Thick pine forests, gushing mountain streams, waterfalls, lakes, flower filled meadows, charming quaint villages, forts, temples, it’s all there for you to explore and experience. It is also a perfect gateway to explore the Great Himalayan National Park or GHNP, a UNESCO world heritage site.

Located at an altitude of 1790 meters (5871 feet) the climate here is moderate in the summers with maximum temperature of about 26°C while in winters the minimum temperatures can drop up to -10 °C. Day time sky is always in shades of blue and the night sky is full of sparkling stars.

The local people are friendly and hardworking. Unlike the cities, they are never in a hurry and will willingly stop by for a chat with you. Religion plays a very important part in their lives. It is common to see the local deities moving around on the devotees shoulders, accompanied by drum beats and the sound of musical instruments which echo among the mountains.

Jibhi is two hours driving distance from the Kullu airport and a six hour drive from Chandigarh airport along the Chandigarh Manali national highway.
